At A Fairy’s Dream Farm, we believe that food tastes better when it is shared and that everyone deserves a seat at the table. Healthy, nutritious food should not be locked behind a paywall, but that is the unfortunate reality for many of our neighbors. Our sliding scale pricing model allows us to provide high-quality goods while prioritizing, and emphasizing the importance of, community care.

We encourage customers to choose the option that best fits their financial reality as it exists on their day of purchase. This allows for inclusion and flexibility as more or less financial resources become available to our customers.

Accessibility Tier

The Goal: To remove financial barriers and prioritize community participation over profit.

  • This tier is designed to make high quality food accessible to those who might otherwise be excluded by market pricing. Choosing this level allows us to grow a more inclusive community.

  • Choose this tier if: You are a student, a senior on a fixed income, or currently receive public assistance. You have little to no expendable income.

Equity Tier

The Goal: To cover the "true cost" of the work, including fair wages and supplies.

  • This tier represents the actual cost of production. This price point allows our operations to remain sustainable and fair for everyone involved.

  • Choose this tier if: You are employed, have some savings, and can afford occasional travel or "wants" without financial stress.

Solidarity Tier

The Goal: To actively redistribute resources to support the Access tier.

  • This tier is an investment in community resilience, covering the true cost of the goods plus a contribution that directly subsidizes the Accessibility tier for others.

  • Choose this tier if: You own your home, have inherited wealth, or have a high household income. You want to use your resources to foster local equity and increase food access for your neighbors.
